Green County Grand Jury returns indictments Wed 6 Sept 2017

Indictments brought against 4 individuals from Greensburg and Campbellsville, KY, on charges including wanton endangerment, DUI, possession, and receiving stolen property.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Green County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Greensburg, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Wednesday, 6 September 2017:


  • Larry R. Reece (09/05/1945), Highway 88, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00059. Charged with 7 counts. Count 1 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 2 - Operate motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs, .08 aggravator, 4th offense. Count 3 - Resisting arrest. Count 4 - Terroristic threatening, 3rd degree. Count 5 - Driving on DUI suspended license, 1st offense. Count 6 - Possess open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle. Count 7 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $2,400 full cash, no driving, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Marilyn Lamont (02/11/1966), Hwy 1464, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00057. Charged with 9 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, drug unspecified. Count 2 - Controlled substance prescription no in original container, 1st degree. Count 3 - Operating motor vehicle under influence alcohol/drugs/etc, .08 1st offense. Count 4 - Failure to wear seat belts. Count 5 - Driving too slow for traffic conditions. Count 6 - Failure to produce insurance card. Count 7 - Registration and title requirements vehicle not operate on highway. Count 8 - No/expired registration plates. Count 9 - No/expired Kentucky registration receipt. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • William S. Thompson (09/15/1987), Pike Lane, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00056. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Nickolas K. Perkins (10/04/1991), Old Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00058. Charged with 14 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Count 3 - Endangering the welfare of a minor. Count 4 - Failure of owner to maintain required insurance/securities, 2nd offense. Count 5 - Operating a motor vehicle under influence alcohol/drugs/etc., .08 (agg. circum.), 2nd offense. Count 6 - Operating on suspended or revoked operators license. Count 7 - Rear license not illuminated. Count 8 - No registration plates. Count 9 - Improper registration plate. Count 10 - No registration receipt. Count 11 - Registration and title requirements vehicle not operate on highway. Count 12 - Failure to use child restraint device in vehicle. Count 13 - Failure to wear seat belts. Count 14 - Improper display registration plates. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.
