Hurricane Harvey ends LWC Volleyball's trip to Texas early Lindsey Wilson is one of three teams from the invitational flying out of Texas today, along with fellow Mid-South Conference member Georgetown (KY). Teams that drove to the tournament will play just two matches today, while all matches on Saturday are expected to be canceled. By Charles Balcom, Assistant Sports Information Director COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson volleyball team was forced to withdraw from participating in the 2017 Saints Classic, hosted by Our Lady of the Lake (Texas), this weekend in San Antonio due to the dangerous weather resulting from Hurricane Harvey. The Blue Raiders, who arrived in San Antonio early Thursday morning, will no longer participate in their four scheduled matches at the event and are expected to return to campus later tonight. Lindsey Wilson is one of three teams from the invitational flying out of Texas today, along with fellow Mid-South Conference member Georgetown (KY). Teams that drove to the tournament will play just two matches today, while all matches on Saturday are expected to be canceled. Hurricane Harvey was recently upgraded to a Category 2 hurricane and is projected to pound the east coast of Texas, heading directly inland towards San Antonio with wind gusts of up to 125 miles per hour.
