Ella Mae Wood, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at her home in Edmonton, KY.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017, at 1pmCT, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Wood Family Cemetery. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Thursday, August 10, 2017, and Friday morning from 9amCT, until service time.

She was the daughter of the late Abraham Hubbard & Allie Mae Jones Hubbard. She was born January 30, 1939. She died August 8, 2017, in Edmonton, Metcalfe County, KY, at the age of 78 years, six months, and nine days.

She was a homemaker and attended the Bread of Life Church. She is survived by:
  • Six sons: Terry Combs, Andy Combs Timmy Combs, all of Edmonton, KY; David Combs of London, KY; Gary Combs of Louisville, KY; and Oscar Bagley of Manchester, KY

  • One brother: Abraham Hubbard of Edmonton, KY

  • Ella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Drexel Wood, her son James Wood, and four brothers, Tom, Joe, Bob, and Press Hubbard.
