Carter White, 11, radio star - will be on Lex Tv 2 Aug 2017

Carter White, whose popularity as a radio personality has soared since "The Carter White Report," began airing twice weekly on radio station WAIN FM 93.5, will be on on WLEX-Tv 18, Lexington, KY, Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 10:30amCT/11:30amET



The "Carter White Report' at 7:10amCT on Tuesdays and Thursdays, has been airing since late April this year, will be interviewed

For the radio reports Carter researches his material, makes notes, records his show on his cell phone, and sends the report to the station via cellphone. Each segment is 1-3 minutes long.

Carter covers Little League and Adair County sports, and frequently dedicates shows to special fundraising events.

Being a radio or Tv Sports Commentator is Carter's fall back goal. He hopes to be an NBA basketball player, after playing for the Kentucky Wildcats.

But if that doesn't materialize, it's radio and Tv.

Carter is the son of Joey White and Elizabeth Burton White.

When school starts August 10, 2017, Carter will be in his first year at Adair County Middle School, as a sixth grader.

For the radio segments on WAIN, which last 1-3 minutes each, Carter researches his material, sometimes doing live interviews, makes notes, records his show on his cell phone, and sends the finished, read-to-air report to the station. He covers Little League and Adair County sports, and frequently dedicates shows to special fundraising events. Being a radio or Tv Sports Commentator is Carter's fall back goal. He hopes to be an NBA basketball player, after playing for the Kentucky Wildcats.
