Meredith E. Womack, 81, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017, at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly, in London, KY.

Funeral Services for Meredith Womack are at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY on at 1pmCT, Thursday, June 29, 2017, with Bro. John Wilson officiating. Friends may visit after 11amCT, on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clear Springs Cemetery, in Russell Springs, KY.

Meredith was born in Russell Springs, KY March 17, 1936. She was a daughter of the late Eva (Rexroat) & Harrison B. Brown, Sr. She died Monday, June 26, 2017, in London, Laurel County, KY, at the age of 81 years, three months, and nine days.

She was a retired store clerk and the wife of Paul Womack, of Russell Springs, KY

In addition to her husband, she also survived by

  • Son: Randy Womack, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three daughters: Janet (Ensley) Wright, Bowling Green, KY; Paulette Womack, of Russell Springs, KY; and Susan (Danny) Stephens, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Brother: H.B. Brown, Jr., of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sisters Margaret Irvin, of Bowling Green, KY; andBetty Morgan, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • Ten great grandchildren

  • One great great grandchild
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son David Womack.
