Big Red Truck from Lake Cumberland CDL visits Camp Rocket

On Monday, June 19, 2017m the big red truck from Lake Cumberland CDL school made a pit stop at Adair County Primary Center, 158 Col. Casey Drive, Columbia, KY, where Camp Rocket is in the third week of summer program.



The students had been learning earlier in the day about preparing for college and/or careers.

A few of them now want to go to school to become truck drivers.

Cindy Alexander, from LCCDL, explained to the students the importance of trucks in their everyday life and how everything they have or buy from stores are there because "Trucks Move America".

We all appreciate Cindy and truck driver, Jimmy "Mike" Lawhorn for taking the time to come visit and share with our students.- Dana Harmon, 21st CCLC Director
