City of Campbellsville, most of Taylor County is without water Water department still searching for location of water main break. Click on headline for complete story By Larry Smith, FM 99.9 The Big Dawg Mayor Tony Young has just called us to let everyone know that all of Campbellsville and all of Taylor County except a small portion served by Green-Taylor District is without water this morning because of a water main leak. Mayor Young said that every water tower in the county was drained by the leak. The situation is affecting everything, businesses, churches, the hospital and residences. Mayor Young said that the Campbellsville Water District personnel still have not found the leak. After the leak is found, and water is restored, consumers will be notified of a Boil Water Advisory. We'll keep everyone posted as additional information arrives on FM 99.9, the Big Dawg, on our sister station 92.7 The WAVE, and will send updates to ColumbiaMagazine.com as well.
