By Andrea Waggener, Deputy Adair County CJE

The Adair County Fiscal Court has applied for a PRIDE Household Hazardous Waste Grant, which includes E-Scrap, and currently awaits notification of grant awards. If grant funding is secured, the fiscal court will announce dates for collection.

The tire amnesty program rotates throughout the state; however, at this time it is not Adair County's year to host the tire amnesty collection event. Contact Judge Executive Michael Lee Stephens' office at 270-384-4703, for more information regarding tire disposal.

As a reminder, Adair County's "Free Tipping Days" are coming up at Mid-State Waste Transfer Station, May 19, 2017, from 8am-3pmCT and May 20 from 8am-12pmNoonCT. - Andrea Waggener
