Ray William Sheppard age 80, of Edmonton, KY, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at his home. No services are scheduled at this time as cremation was chosen.


Ray William Sheppard, 60, Metcalfe Co., KY (1936-2017)

He was the son of the late Ray and Florence Liersch. He was born June 25, 1936. He died Saturday, March 25, 2017, in Edmonton, Metcalfe County, KY, at the age of 60 years, nine months.

He was a retired from the city of Lake Placid, Florida and attended Christ the Healer Catholic Church. Ray was a army veteran who served in Korea.

He is survived by his wife Louise Sheppard of Edmonton, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Ray W. Sheppard of Edmonton, KY

  • A daughter: Jessie Matthews of Florida

  • Four grandchildren: Caleb Sheppard and Katelynn Sheppard of Edmonton, KY; Tricia Knobs of Alabama, and Melinda Threadgill of Florida

  • Two step grandchildren: Johathan Froedge and Zachary Matthews

  • Three great grandchildren
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Sheppard.
