Green County Grand Jury returns indictments 1 Mar 2017

Indictments brought against seven individuals from Greensburg and Campbellsville, and Beaver WV for charges including auto theft, criminal mischief, cultivating, trafficking in marijuana; intimidating participant in legal process, persistent felony offender; receiving stolen property, reckless driving, fleeing/evading police, and fraudulent use of credit card.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Green County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Greensburg, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Wednesday, 1 Mar 2017:


  • JAMES T. COX (3/25/1996), Lincoln Avenue, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00012. Charged with two counts. Count 1 - Theft by Unlawful taking or unlawful disposition Auto - $10,000 or more but less than $1,000,000. Count 2 - Criminal Mischief, 1st degree (Class D Felony). Bond set at $5,000 cash, no contact with victioms

  • DEBRA A. CALDWELL (07/16/1959), Edmonton Road, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00011-002. Charged with three counts. Count 1 - Cultivate in Marijuana, 5 plants or More. 1st Offense.. Count 2 - Trafficking in Marijuana (>5 lbs. 1st offense. Count 3 - Drug Paraphernalia-buy/possess. Bond set at $15,000 cash

  • GEORGE R. CALDWELL (08/11/1962), Edmonton Road, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00011-001. Charged with three counts. Count 1 - Cultivate in Marijuana, 5 plants or More. 1st Offense. Count 2 - Trafficking in Marijuana (>5 lbs. 1st offense. Count 3 - Drug Paraphernalia-buy/possess. Bond set at $5,000 cash

  • JEFFREY BEARD (09/15/1960), Beaver, WV Indictment No. 17-CR-00010. Charged with two counts. Count 1 - Intimidating a Participant inthe Legal Process. Count 2 - Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash. No Contact with complaining witness.

  • TIMOTHY W. CURRY (07/06/1978), Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00009. Charged with five counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen Property $10,000 or more. Count 2 - Reckless Driving. Count 3 - Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree (Motor Vehicle). Count 4 - Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree (on Foot). Count 5 - Persistent Felony Offender - First Degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash. No contact with complaining witness

  • Meagan L. Johnson (02/16/1991), Depot Street, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00008-002. Charged with one count. Count 1 - Fraudulent use of Cred Card over $500 and under $10,000. Bond set at $1,000.00 full cash. No contact with complaining witness.

  • JOSEPH R. REYNOLDS (04/14/1984), Depot Street, Greensburg, KY. Indictment No. 17-CR-00008-001. Charged with One count. Count 1 - Count 1 - Fraudulent use of Cred Card over $500 and under $10,000. Bond set at $1,000.00 full cash. No contact with complaining witness.
