Columbia Rotary donates $4,000 for scholarships at LWC

Members of the Columbia Rotary Club presented a facsimile check representing $4,000 Monday night, February 27, 2017, to Lindsey Wilson College Vice President for Educational Outreach and Student Financial Services Denise Fudge. The $4,000, which was raised in October through the club's phonathon, will be used to provide scholarship support to Adair County residents who attend Lindsey Wilson. At the presentation, and included in accompanying photo, were Bill Scott from Columbia Baptist Church, J.D. Zornes, Phil Hanna, George Kolbenschlag, Dawson Cunningham, Ted Caldwell, Jerry Holt, Derrick Kisita, Hunter Durham and Denise Fudge. - Venus Popplewell
