Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments 14 Feb 2017

Charges brought against 9 individuals from Columbia, Russell Springs, Edmonton, and Liberty, KY. Charges include theft, assault, burglary, DUI, possession, sexual abuse, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, and obscuring the identity of a machine.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 14 February 2017:


  • Travis Robertson (02/23/1985), Grider Rd., Russell Springs, KY Indictment no. 17-CR-00025. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition, $500-$9,999 (auto). Count 3 - Criminal mischief, 1st degree. Count 4 - Assault, 4th degree domestic violence (minor injury). Bail set at $50,000 cash. Arraignment 3/14/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Jennifer R. Tucker (12/27/1975), Trace Fork Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00026. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, .08 aggravator, 4th offense or higher. Count 2 - Operating motor vehicle while license revoked/suspended for driving under influence, 1st offense, aggravating circumstance. Bail set at $20,000 c/p. Arraignment 3/14/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Donald B. Morgan (01/20/1978), Address unknown Indictment No. 17-CR-00027. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition, firearm. Bail set at $5,000 c/p. Arraignment 3/14/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Donald W. Cook (12/30/1994), Wayne Rd., Russell Springs, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00028. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Possession of marijuana. Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess. Arraignment 3/14/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Shane Bottoms (02/26/1985), Caldwell Ridge Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00029. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Obscuring the identity of a machine or other property, $500-$9,999. Count 2 - Receiving Stolen property, $500-$9,999.

  • Destiny Ooten (06/19/1989), Half Acre Circle, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00030. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking, $500-$9,999. Bail set at $5,000 surety. Arraignment 3/14/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • William J. Goble (06/06/1990), East St., Edmonton, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00031. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Assault, 1st degree. Bail set at $50,000 cash. Arraignment 3/14/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Wan S. Cho (03/09/1979), E. Guardian St., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00032. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Sexual abuse, 1st degree. Bail set at $50,000 cash. Arraignment 3/14/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Joshua R. Wesley (10/23/1980), Wilson Ridge Estates Rd., Liberty, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00033. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Carrying a concealed deadly weapon. Count 2 - Possession of a controlled sustance, 1st degree, 1st offense. Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess.
