LWC 5th, CU 4th in latest NAIA Top-20

COLUMBIA, KY (Wed 08 Feb 2017) - The NAIA released the fifth regular season Top-20 Coaches' Poll on Wednesday evening and the Lindsey Wilson wrestling team moved up two spots to No. 5. The Blue Raiders received 53 points in the poll.



] Cam Tessari is ranked first in the 157-pound weight class earning 120 points in the poll. Matt Walker is fourth in the 184 class with 75 total points. Diorian Coleman is sixth in the 165-pound weight class with 60 points. Daniel Leonard is ninth in the 149-pound weight class with 31 points. Rhodes Bell is 10th at 174 pounds and Colton Gonzalez is 15th at 174.

Campbellsville (KY) is the highest ranked Mid-South Conference team in the poll at fourth with 56 points. Cumberlands (KY) is seventh earning 52 points in the poll. Life (GA) is ninth with 42 points. Cumberland (TN) is tied for 13th earning 39 points.

Brewton-Parker (GA) and Southeastern (FL) are receiving votes in the poll earning 20.5 and 18 points respectively.
