Ronnie B Whitlow, 65, Glasgow, KY (1952-2017)

He was a native of Lake County, IN, and a resident of Barren County, KY, at the time of his death there. He was a son of the late Buford Reuben and Naomi Daugherty Whitlow. His wife of 47 years, Anita Pedigo Whitlow, survives, He leaves seven and one on the way, living descendants. He was of the Baptist faith. His final resting place will be in Summer Shade, KY

Ronnie B Whitlow, age 65, of Glasgow, KY died Monday, February 6, 2017, at Diversicare of Glasgow.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 2pmCT, at the Summer Shade Baptist Church, Summer Shade, KY, with Bro Chad Harston, officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am-8pmCT, Friday, February 10, 2017, at the Summer Shade Baptist Church and on Saturday after 8amCT until time of services at the church.


Ronnie B Whitlow, 65, Glasgow, KY (1952-2017)


Born January 21, 1952, in Shelby, Lake Countym, IN. He was a son of the late Buford Reuben and Naomi Daugherty Whitlow. He died Monday, February 6, 2017, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 65 years, 17 days.

He was the husband of Anita Pedigo Whitlow, who survives. They were married for 47 years.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include:
  • One daughter: Ronda (Todd) Sydnor, Scottsville, KY

  • One son: Ryan (Dianna) Whitlow, Summer Shade, KY

  • One sister: Norma Collins, Lexington, South Carolina

  • Three grandchildren: Stephen Dakota (Kymber) Sydnor, Matthew Thomas (Allison) Whitlow, and Ryanna Michael Whitlow

  • Two great grandchildren: Kiara and Link Whitlow, and one expected in May
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Puckett and Nancy Collins; and one grandchild Montanna Sydnor.
