Metcalfe Homemakers soup luncheon supports Cancer Research

100% of proceeds donated to benefit KY Extension Homemakers and University of Kentucky Ovarian Cancer Research and Screening project,

The Metcalfe County Homemakers will hold its Annual Homemade Soup Luncheon and silent auction, 11am-1pmCT, Thursday, February 9, 2017,in the back meeting room of the Metcalfe County Extension office, 422 East Street, Edmonton, KY. Cost is $6.00 per person. It is a fundraiser to benefit the KY Extension Homemakers and University of Kentucky Ovarian Cancer Research and Screening project, 100% of the proceeds are donated. Metcalfe County Homemaker volunteers, make and donate the homemade bean, vegetable and potato soups, corn breads and desserts for the luncheon. The winner of the lovely Christmas Quilt made by the Metcalfe County Quilters group, will also be determined at 1pmCT, February 9, 2017. Proceeds from the quilt sale are also donated, to support the Ovarian Cancer Screening and Research Project. - Marla Young, Program Assistant, Metcalfe County Extension Office
