Basketball homecoming festivities set for Fri 13 Jan 2017

Ceremony will take place between boys' and girls' games.

Adair County High School's 2017 Basketball Homecoming will take place Friday night, January 13, 2015, at John Burr Memorial Gymnasium, 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY. The ceremonies will be held at approximately 6:45pmCT, between the boys' game, which is set to start at 5:30pmCT, and the girls',which is expected to tip off at around 7:15pmCT.

This year's court will feature the Mr. and Miss of each class, Mr. and Miss ACHS, and 17 homecoming candidates. The following students will participate:

  • Mr. and Miss ACHS, Brady Hixson and Chloe Hixson
  • Mr. and Miss Senior, Jacob Doss and Linsey Grant
  • Mr. and Miss Junior, Jax Kemp and Alayna Willis
  • Mr. and Miss Sophomore, Blane Frazier and Riley Jo Cowan
  • Mr. and Miss Freshmen, Isaiah Carter and Maggie Young
  • Katherine Curry (Girls Basketball) and her escort, Isaac Carter
  • Madelyn Loy (Baseball) and her escort, Will Myers
  • Kia Miller (Volleyball) and her escort, Cameron Lasley
  • Victoria Hernandez, (Yearbook) and her escort, Garret Waggener
  • Sara Dunbar (Pep Club) and her escort, Jameson Miller
  • Olivia Bair (NAHS) and her escort, Erwin Ruczienski
  • Lauren Talley (Band) and her escort, Blaine Harden
  • Katy Roy (Football) and her escort, Zach Smith
  • Savannah Roy (Boys Basketball) and her escort, Jordan Lasley
  • Gretchen Miles (Drama) and her escort, Tyler Miller
  • Makayla Smith (FCA) and her escort, Clint Garrison
  • Hayley Reynolds (Cheerleading) and her escort, Kasey Robinson
  • Christina Hayden (NHS/Beta) and her escort, Emery Bosela
  • Katelyn Ploss (SADD) and her escort, Owen Grant
  • Kassidy Roy (Softball) and her escort, Cole Schmidt
  • Katelynn Woodrum (Tennis, escort not yet named)
  • and Kaitlynn Burton (FFA) and her escort, Sam Baker.
All family, friends, and members of the community are invited to take in the festivities and enjoy two entertaining ball games. The No. 16-ranked Indians will look to move to 17-1 on the season against the Metcalfe County Hornets, while the Lady Indians hope to see their recent improvement continue against the Lady Hornets.
