Taft Neal has arrived from Lindsey Wilson College with his magic bucket truck and this morning, motorists in Columbia will arrive to see the Square and the Main Streets almost completely dressed for "Christmas in Columbia - A Country Christmas", in Downtown Columbia and for "A Christmas Carnival" at Lindsey Wilson, both this Saturday, December 3, 2016. Above, Neal is in landing mode to bring the Eagle back to planet earth, preparing for the next wreath which would be by the Fountain. The bucket truck operation was coordinated with the City of Columbia Street Department, help from the Adair County Regional Jail, and a few onlookers enjoying the procedure as much as the completed project. - EW
