LWC men's swimming defeats Union and Campbellsville

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (Sat 5 Nov 2016) - The Lindsey Wilson men's swimming team picked up victories over Union (KY) and Campbellsville on Saturday at the Powell Athletic Center Pool.

The Blue Raiders (2-3) beat Union 164-71 and took down Campbellsville 170-74.



Iker Larzabal picked up three individual victories on the day in the 200-meter freestyle, 100-meter freestyle and in the 200-meter individual medley. Clemens Paetzold picked up victories in the 100-meter backstroke and the 200-meter backstroke.

Michael Peck had victories in the 800-meter freestyle and the 400-meter freestyle. Jonas Mueller won the 100-meter breaststroke and 200-meter breaststroke.

Gage Setzer won the 200-meter butterfly, Zac Patser picked up a victory in the 50-meter freestyle. Travis Durocher finished second in the 200-meter butterfly and Setzer finished second in the 100-meter butterfly.

The 200-meter relay team of Paetzold, Mueller, Durocher and Larzabal finished first and the 200-meter freestyle relay team of Setzer, Peck, Paetzold and Patzer picked up victories.
