Grand Reopening of Amazon Fulfillment Center Mayor Tony Young and Rep. Bam Carney on hand, along with students from Campbellsville Elementary School Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Kelsey Duncan Amazon welcomed associates, community leaders and Campbellsville Elementary School students to the Grand Reopening and Family Night at its Campbellsville, Kentucky, fulfillment center. Guests celebrated with Amazon as the company revealed the renovations including a new front entrance to the building, an employee locker room, updated break room, additional office space, a dedicated onsite Career Choice classroom and specialized material handling equipment, among some of the changes. Campbellsville Mayor Tony Young and Kentucky State Representative Bam Carney spoke at the event about the impact the Campbellsville fulfillment center has had on the area during the past 17 years. They expressed their appreciation for Amazon's continued investment in the area. Amazon also donated 100 books to the Campbellsville Elementary School library as a reward for students successfully completing more than 1,000 reading hours as part of the Amazon Sizzling Summer Reading Challenge Program.
