News from Campbellsville Baptist Church

The Campbellsville Baptist Church, 530 N Central Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, is celebrating 225 years of ministry in its combined 10amCT/11amET, Sunday morning service on September 25, 2016. The most senior members and those whose membership is the longest will be honored.

The public is invited to this event. A potluck meal will follow at 11amCT/12pmET, where a 10 minute video of the history of the church will be shown. Following the meal, a tour of the early church sites at Robinson Creek, Pitman Creek, and the 1889 church will follow, for those interested.

The church is changing the time of service for this particular event. The 8amCT/9amET service is cancelled for this special day. There will be Sunday School at 9amCT/10amET, and the combined worship service at 10amCT/11amET, AM where former pastor Dr. James Jones will speak . Many former staff persons are serving in other churches, but it is hoped that they can join the members at the meal following the service.
