Water. Link to NKU's Episode 5 - Toxic Blue-Green Algae The bad taste of the Columbia/Adair County Utilities District water is continuing this Monday morning - at least at our faucet. The taste problem is caused, we're told, by an algal bloom. A link to this audio report on algal blooms came in the mail this morning. It's worth a listen for anyone willing to hear this audio clip: NKU's Episode 5 - Toxic Blue-Green Algae, on "Ask NKU," as in Northern Kentucky University. The link above came from a long-time critic of the Columbia/Adair County Utilities District, who has said he could have no confidence in the District so long as the water he was buying from CAUD was dirty coming through the faucet, and had a bad taste and was undrinkable a big part of the year to boot.
