Green Co. Grand Jury returns indictments 17 Aug 2016

Charges brough against five individuals from Summersville, Cave City, Campbellsville, and Greensburg on charges including murder, burglary, theft, sodomy, rape, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Green County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Greensburg, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Wednesday 17 August 2016:

  • Willard E. Calhoun (03/26/1976), Hudgins Hwy, Summersville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00017. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Murder. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $250,000 cash.

  • Joshua R. Curry (09/19/1994), Grinstead Mill Rd., Cave City, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00018. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Violation of KY EPO/DVO. Bond set at $1,000 cash, no contact with victim.

  • Damian Jackson (01/12/1995), Cedar St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00019. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - TBUT or disposition all others $500 or more but under $10,000. Bond set at $5,000/10%, no contact with victim.

  • Rashad M. Dunn (08/26/1989), Graham Ct., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00020. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of firearm by convicted felon. Bond set at $5,000 cash, no firearms, no weapons.

  • Charles Wright (08/06/1939), Blowing Springs Rd., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00021. Charged with 99 counts. Count 1 - Attempted rape, 1st degree. Counts 2-4 - Sodomy, 1st degree. Counts 5-7 - Incest, forcible compulsion/incapable of consent or below 18. Counts 8-99 - Sexual abuse, 1st degree. Bond set at $30,000 cash, no contact with victims, no contact with minors.
