Ronnie Pollard, 67, Adair County, KY (1948-2016)

He was former owner of Pollard's Body Shop and a member of Adair County Sportsman's Club, serving as President for many years. He was a member of a highly respected Adair County, KY, family. the son of the Owen Pollard, who survives, and the late Evelyn Curry Pollard and the widower of Ruby Taylor Pollard. He leaves five direct living descendants.

Ronnie Pollard, 67, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 7:19pmCT at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 4pm-8pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY.

Ronnie requested cremation.



Ronnie Pollard, 67, Adair County, KY (1948-2016)


He was born December 27, 1948, in Adair County, KY. He was the son of Owen Pollard and the late Evelyn Curry Pollard. He died Tuesday, August 16, 2016, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 67 years, seven months, and 20 days.

He was former owner of Pollard's Body Shop and a member of Adair County Sportsman's Club, serving as President for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Taylor Pollard, his mother, Evelyn Curry Pollard and a brother, Larry Pollard

Survivors include:

  • One son: Troy (Susan) Pollard of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Tammy Campbell of Columbia, KY

  • His father: Owen Pollard of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: George Pollard of Columbia, KY

  • Two sisters: Brenda Smith of Russell Springs, KY; and Sally Kemp of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Jordan and Emma Pollard, Cody Grant

  • Several other relatives and friends
