Anthony Reece, 45, Adair County, KY (1970-2016)

He and his wife, Tammy, were owners and operators of Anthony's Auto Sales in Adair County. He was born in Taylor County, KY, and was a resident of Adair County, KY, at the time of his death in Hall County, GA. He was the son of the late Col. Odford Reece, Jr. and the late Barbara Hatcher.

Anthony Junior Reece, 45, of Columbia, died Friday, July 15, 2016 on Lake Lanier in Hall County, GA as a result of a boating accident. His wife Tammy also died in that accident.

A joint funeral service for Anthony and Tammy will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10amCT at the Adair County Middle School Gymnasium, 322 Gen. John Adair Drive, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating. Visitation begins after 3pmCT Friday, July 22, 2016, at the Adair County Middle School Gymnasium and after 7amCT Saturday until time of the funeral service.Burial will follow the service in Cane Valley Cemetery, 87 Cane Valley Cemetery Road, Cane Valley, KY.



Anthony Reece, 45, Adair County, KY (1970-2016)

Anthony Junior Reece, 45, of Columbia, KY, was born September 11, 1970, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY. He died Friday, July 15, 2016 on Lake Lanier in Hall County, GA as a result of a boating accident, at the age of 45 years, eight months, and four days.

He was preceded in death by his father, Colonel Odford Reece, Jr.; his mother, Barbara Hatcher; and three brothers, Ricky Murray, George Turner and Jerry Wayne Stone.

He and his wife, Tammy, were owners and operators of Anthony’s Auto Sales in Adair County.

His wife, Tammy Reece, also died in the accident.

Survivors include:
  • One son: Tristan Chase Reece of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Hailey McBeath of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Larry Stone of Coburg, KY

  • One granddaughter: Millie Ann Reece

  • Three nephews: including a special nephew Deven Stone, and Christopher and Nicholas Murray

  • Aunts and uncles: Brenda Henson, Joyce Biggs, Ken Hatcher and Wayne Hatcher

  • Step-mother: Phyllis Reece of Russell Springs, KY

  • Half-brother and half-sister: Todd Reece of Elizabethtown, KY, and Tina Bray of Russell Springs, KY

  • Special friends: John Shehan and Chris Gore

  • Several other relatives and friends
