Mr.Parnell was honored by his Church family for his service to the Church for the the past 60 years as Sunday School Superintendent . Mr. Parnell became Sunday School Superintendent on May 15, 1956 at 19 years of age. Joseph is known and loved throughout the county and was a teacher in the Adair County School system for 30 years. Family members present at the celebration were his wife, Norma Jean Parnell, daughter Ann Marr and Timmy Marr, and Mr. Parnell's daughter, Pam Jones. This story was posted on 2016-05-15 13:32:12
