Donnie Coleman Shofner, 76, Taylor Co., KY (1940-2016) Donnie had been retired for 14 years from Coca-Cola where he serviced vending machines. He enjoyed time spent at home where he especially liked watching NASCAR races on television. He was a member of a respected Taylor County, KY with deep roots on LaRue County, KY and elsewhere, as well. He was the son of the late Waller T. and Laura Shofner. His wife Carolyn Shofner, survives, as does his daughter, Ashley Shofner. He died Sunday, April 10, 2016, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 76 years, two months, and 17 days. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Gilpin and brothers, Monroe and Roosevelt Shofner.
