Washington Co., KY injury collision: Semi vs Ford Explorer Freightliner operated by Campbellsville, KY, driver rear-ends Ford Explorer operated by Springfield, KY, driver Click on headline for complete story By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY SPRINGFIELD, KY (24 Mar 2016) - Tpr. Jonathan Houk is investigating a collision that occurred Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at approximately 8:45pmET on KY 55 at the intersection of McMurty Lane. 50-year-old Kenneth Burress, of Campbellsville, KY, was operating a southbound 2005 Freightliner on KY 55 when he rear ended a southbound 2013 Ford Explorer that was attempting to turn onto McMurty Lane. The Explorer was operated by 29-year-old Renee Kirkland, of Springfield, KY. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Kirkland was transported to Springview Hospital in Lebanon, KY, with minor injuries.
