District 8 Road Condition Update - 4 PM Eastern By Amber Hale Information Officer, KTC District 8 - Somerset Somerset, KY - District 8 road crews are beginning to wrap up snow and ice duties for the day. Roads throughout the District are in good shape with most routes being reported as mostly wet pavement. Some crews will remain on duty this afternoon continuing to spot treat secondary routes. Motorists are advised that current forecasts call for continued scattered snow showers overnight into Wednesday morning with bitterly cold temperatures. If traveling allow yourself extra time to reach your destination and always be prepared for unexpected slick spots. KYTC District 8 serves the counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, McCreary, Lincoln, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell and Wayne. This story was posted on 2016-02-09 15:20:17
