Hiland Paul Simpson, age 88, of Albany, Kentucky a native of Cumberland, County, Kentucky, passed away, Saturday, January 16, 2016 , at his residence in Clinton County, Kentucky. Funeral services for Rev. Hiland Paul Simpson will be conducted Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11amCT, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home, 115 Cross Street, Albany, KY, with Pastor Roger Jones officiating with burial to follow in the Rose of Sharon Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky with Military Honors. The family will receive friends after 5pmCT on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Rev. Cothburn Winton and Noxie (Hogan) Simpson. He was a Navy Veteran of World War Two and he served as Pastor of Several United Methodist Churches in Cumberland, Adair, Clinton and Warren County, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou (Legg) Simpson, and the following:
