PAC has 1,000 volunteer-validated signatures - 39 to go Next previous story on Adair Wet-Dry - PAC has 927 volunteer-validated signatures: 112 to go (Mon 18 Jan 2016, 12:01pmCT) - Shannon Sexton reports that PAC has 1000 on the nose this morning! Just 39 and a little fluff to go. This is up 73 volunteer-validated signatures from the last report of Fri 15 Jan 2016. PAC defines "volunteer validated" signatures as those PAC volunteers have checked in-house against registration information at the Secretary of State's office, which is the same method the Adair County Court Clerk will use in the official validation. Sexton expects 100%, or almost 100%, agreement when the clerk's office validates, but will continue the signature drive to give the submission a cushion, she said, then will move the issue to the next step as quickly as possible.
