By Jessica Ditto
News from Gov-Elect Matt Bevin's Transition Team

Frankfort, KY - The church service preceding the Inauguration of Governor-Elect Matt Bevin and Lieutenant Governor-Elect Jenean Hampton will start at 7amCT/8amET, Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at the Frankfort Convention Center, 405 Mero Street, Frankfort, KY. The service will be open to the public.

The service will feature some of Kentucky's most recognized Gospel recording artists, including Grammy Award and Dove Award winner Larnelle Harris. Ministers from across the Commonwealth will participate and represent a number of faith traditions. The Kentucky State University Concert Choir will also perform, as part of a long-held inaugural tradition.

"We are humbled by the outpouring of support from across the state," said Kelly Knight, Inaugural Chairwoman. "Inauguration Day is about a fresh start for Kentucky, and as such, we want as many Kentuckians as possible to attend. I'm pleased that we were able to move this event to accommodate a larger crowd."
