Brenda Pendleton, 64, Dunnville, KY (1951-2015)

She was a homemaker and a member of the New Testament Baptist Church. Brenda was a devoted grandmother. She was a native of Casey County, KY, and a resident of Dunnville at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Gilbert Wilbert Absher and Treva Gladys Sallee Absher. Her husband of over 43 years, Clifton Pendleton, survives. She leaves three direct living descendants.

Brenda Pendleton of Dunnville, KY passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was 64.

Funeral services are at 10amCT/11amET, Monday, November 9, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. George Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, November 8, 2015, 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, at the funeral home.

Born July 19, 1951 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Wilbert Absher and Treva Gladys Sallee Absher.

She was a homemaker and a member of the New Testament Baptist Church. Brenda was a devoted grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Clifton Pendleton, whom she married October 11, 1972, and the following:
  • A son: Brent (and Tracy) Pendleton of Dunnville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Breana and Abby

  • Sister Sharlene (and Cecil) Roy of Dunnville, KY

  • And two brothers: David (and Alicia) Absher and Danny (and Judy) Absher both of Dunnville, KY
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, and a sister.

In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to offset funeral expenses.
