He was the son of the late Oliver and Docie Allen Eads. His wife, Barbara Lane Eads, survives. He leaves 19 direct living descendants.

Dennie Eads, 65, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the Casey County hospital, Liberty, KY.

Funeral services are at 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday, October 25, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Phillip Smallwood officiating. Burial is in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be be Saturday from 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, at the funeral home.

Born February 2, 1950 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Oliver and Docie Allen Eads. He died Thursday, October 22, 2015, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 65 years, eight months, and 20 days.

He worked as a dry waller for 40 years. He was a member of the Hwy 49 Holiness Church.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Lane Eads of Dunnville, KY, and the following:
  • A son: Jerry Garrett of Yosemite, KY

  • Four daughters: Charonna Harmon of Columbia, KY; Jessica Eads of Dunnville, KY; Kathy (and Shawn) Sims of Windsor, KY; and Crystal Garrett of Russell Springs, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Three great-grandchildren

  • And two sisters: Janie Miller of Lincoln County, KY; and Donna Christian of Ohio
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Lilburn Eads; and three sisters, Betty Bates, Joyce Eads and Gladys Eads.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY in charge of arrangements.
