Law enforcement units arrest two men on meth, other charges Residence on Russell Road, Adair County, KY, raided; resident arrested; second man, located under a bed, arrested on three outstanding warrants By Adair County Deputy Sheriff Adam Cravens The Adair Sheriff's Office responded with Probation and Parole to a residence on Russell Road/KY 80 on Monday, October 12, 2015, about four and a half miles outside of Columbia city limits. Upon arrival officers made contact with Tony Bridgewater, 59, of Columbia, KY, the resident of the address as well as locating Coy Morrison, 40, also of Columbia, KY, hiding under a bed at the residence. Search of the premises yielded several components consistent with manufacturing methamphetamine as well as what was believed to be finished methamphetamine product. Bridgewater and Morrison were taken into custody and both charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine. Morrison was also arrested on three outstanding warrants including two for felony probation violations. Both parties were lodged in Adair County Jail. Deputy Justin Cross is investigating. He was assisted on the scene by probation and parole, Sheriff Harrison Moss, Deputies Josh Durbin and Brandon Hitch and assisted in methamphetamine cleanup by Columbia Police Department's Sgt. Tracy McCarol and Detective Brad Scholl. --Deputy Adam Cravens *** An arrest is not a finding of guilt.
