Adair County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 6 Oct 2015

Indictments brought against five individuals, four from Columbia, KY, one from Russell Springs, KY. Charges include wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, fleeing or evading police, manufacturing methamphetamine and other drug related offenses, flagrant non-support, theft by unlawful taking, tampering with physical evidence, burglary, possession of firearm by convicted felon,
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 615 October, 2015:

  • Kelly D. Goode (11/22/1980), Sanders Ridge Road, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00077. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking, $500 or more but less than $10,000. Count 2 - Burglary in the 2nd Degree. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender. Bail set at $10,000 c/p. Arraignment Oct 27, 2015 at 1pmCT.

  • Troy Lee Doss (05/19/1974), Allen Schoolhouse Road, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00078. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a Firearm by convicted felon. Count 2 - Persistent Felony Offender in the First Degree. Count 3 - Manufacture of Methamphetamine. Bail set at $40,000 c/p. Arraignment Oct 6, 2015 at 1pmCT.

  • Corey A. Giles (09/28/1981), Magnolia Drive, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00079. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance in the first degree - second or subsequent offense. Count 2 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 3 - Resisting Arrest. Count 4 - Fleeing or evading police 2nd degree. Count 5 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $40,000 c/p. Arraignment Oct 27, 2015 at 1pmCT.

  • Jennifer M. Burchett. (10/04/1983), Geneva Drive, Russell Springs, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00080. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Flagrant non-support. Count 2 - Persistent felony offener. Bail set at $6,900 cash. Arraignment Oct 27, 2015 at 1pmCT.

  • Carl Harrison (03/23/1975), Harrison Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-00081. Charged with 1 counts. Count 1 - Wanton endangerment in the first degree. Bail set at $10,000 c/p. No contact with victim. Arraignment Oct 27, 2015 at 1pmCT.
