I-65 SB blocked near mile marker 66 due to overturned semi

(UPDATE: 1:47pmCT, 3 Oct 2015: All lanes open - WES WATT)

By Wes Watt, Public Information Officer
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District 3

Bowling Green, KY (October 3, 2015) - Interstate 65 southbound is blocked near mile marker 66 just south of Bonnieville in Hart County due to an overturned semi-truck. A detour is being setup at the Bonnieville exit 71to US 31-W and rejoining I-65 at Munfordville at exit 65. Due to high traffic volume the detour could be slow to navigate.

The blockage is expected to last for several hours. Motorists need to exercise patience and caution during this blockage. It may be better for motorists to seek another route, depending on destination.
