Whitfield announces nearly $450K grant for CU

WASHINGTON, DC (Wed 30 Sep 2015) - U.S. Representative Ed Whitfield (KY-01) is pleased to announce a grant for Campbellsville University under the Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP) at the Department of Education.

Campbellsville University will receive $448,850 for the budget period October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016. It is anticipated that the grant will be for a total of five years.

'I am pleased to see Campbellsville University receive this grant," said Whitfield. "These resources will provide funds to improve and strengthen the academic quality, institutional management, and fiscal stability of this fine institution."
