Big Al Travel Album: In the Big Easy

The Roving & Grazing Big Rig Trucker, Big Al Owens, was in New Orleans recently, at work. Along the way he parked his truck, took a trolley and headed for Bourbon Street to sample the bill of fare at Saints & Sinners.

His report, a bit scant on prose, is told in photos to be found by clicking the headline with with story - it includes a picture of his dinner which may entice one to head south this morning. It's only a little over 9 hours - 661 miles from the Historic Courthouse, 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY.

Big Al in the Big Easy: On board trolley, window open

2015-09-13 - New Orleans, LA - Photo by Innocent Bystander.
Big Al's I'm about-to-have-a-crawfish-platter at Saints & Sinners grin, captured by an Inocent Bystander as he rode, windowlight open on the way to Bourbon Street on his recent visit there. He's already enrolled in the plan to permit legal sales of alcoholic beverages in Columbia. He may come home with a plan for trolley lines in Columbia. For sure, he says, somebody in Columbia ought to be able to serve crawfish platters, even if they have to be imported from Arkansas.
