Single vehicle accident takes life of Campbellsville woman From Larry Smith, FM 99.9 The Big Dawg A single vehicle accident on KY 744/Newton Lane, Campbellsville, KY, has taken the life of a 47 year old driver, Jane Mumford "Janie" Beams, of Hodgenville Road, Campbellsville, KY. Beams was driving east in a 2009 Nissan on Newton Lane when she failed to negotiate a curve, exited the left side of the roadway, and struck a tree. Taylor County Deputy Coroner Judy Dabney pronounced Ms. Beams dead at the scene. The accident occurred at approximately 1pmCT, Fri 14 Aug 2015. Taylor County Fire and Rescue assisted the Taylor County Sheriff's Office at the scene. TCSO Officers Dickie Benningfield and Brandon Wilson investigated the accident.
