BJ Fudge covered walkway idea: He's on to something A more comfortable Downtown would draw not only tourists, but would bring locals back as well Comments about: Kentucky Color: Covered walkways a good idea for Columbia By Ralph Roy Waggener Ed, B J Fudge is on to something that would make marked difference in Columbia and LWC by building good looking covered walkways around the Public Square and up LWC Hill. The cost - if the government does not get involved might be doable. It would take a whole town to want to do something like this. Think what a difference it would make, and would draw tourists as well as local people to our city. Just a good idea like so many that have come and gone because someone will want to make a big profit on the job, again like so many in our past. Just saying Thanks, Billy Joe Fudge, for giving Columbia another really good idea! - Ralph Roy Waggener This story was posted on 2015-07-20 09:20:25
