Adair African-American Heritage oral history interviewees listed By Wanda Washington, Greater Campbellsville United Adair Countians Juanita Faye Duvall, Roy Ingram, Joseph Payne, Donna Graves, Sharon Payne, William (Billy) Wheat, Becky Staten Taylor, Stevie Foster Graves, Donnie Walkup, Michael Caldwell, James Washington, Bobby Bowe, Quinn Lasley, and Sammy Hughes, are among those whose interviews are being transcribed by Greater Campbellsville United. These compelling interviews, recorded in 2013-2014, tell about African American life in Adair County, where businesses, homes, communities, and schools were located and how they changed over time, their life experiences, Civil Rights activities, segregation and integration.
