He was the son of Janice Johnson Simpson and the late William Lee Pierce. His wife, Kathy Rabbeth Pierce, survives. He leaves three three direct and three step living descendants. He was a carpenter by trade.

Scottie Lee Pierce, 43, of L. Grider Road, Columbia, KY, died Thursday, May 21, 2015, at his home.

Funeral service for Scottie Lee Pierce will be 2pmCT, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Roger Garner and Bro. Larry Johnson officiating. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Saturday. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery.



Pallbearers: Jason Duffey, Ronnie Bolin, Ricky Jones, Troy Downey, Darren Snow, Scott Conner, Randy Johnson, Kevin Grider.

He was born Monday, October 18, 1971 in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. He was the son of Janice Johnson Simpson and the late William Lee Pierce. He died Thursday, May 21, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 43 years, He was a carpenter.

Mr. Pierce is survived by:
  • His wife, Kathy Rabbeth Pierce, Columbia, KY
  • Three step-children: Brian Rabbeth, Campbellsville, KY; Matthew Rabbeth, Campbellsville, KY; and Crystal Rabbeth, Russell Springs, KY
  • His mother and step-father: Janice and Rick Simpson, Russell Springs, KY
  • Two grandsons: Kendell and Kaleb Wilson
  • One grandaughter: Chloe Rabbeth
  • His maternal grandmother: Lula Johnson, Russell Springs, KY
  • One sister: Stephanie Cash, Albany, KY
  • Two brothers: Shawn Riddle, Burkesville, KY, and Troy Pierce, Russell Springs, KY
