Reba Warriner, 78, Jamestown, KY (1937-2015)

She was a native of Jamestown, KY and a resident of the city at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Lizzie (Bell) and Bryant Pierce. Her husband, William Ralph Warriner, survives. She leaves 47 direct living descendants.

Reba Warriner, 78, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her residence in Jamestown, KY.

Funeral Services for Reba Warriner will be Sunday, May 17, 2015, at 1pmCT, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY with Rev. Donald Brown officiating. Friends may visit on Saturday after 5pmCT, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Warriner-Collins Cemetery.

Reba was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY on January 24, 1937. She was a daughter of the late Lizzie (Bell) and Bryant Pierce. She died Wednesday, May 13, 2015, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 78 years, three months, and 19 days.

She was a homemaker and the wife of William Ralph Warriner.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters: Vertie Morton and Linda Popplewell of Jamestown, KY; and Wanda Witham of Cincinnati, OH

  • Three sons: Barry Warriner of Russell Springs, KY; and Ricky and Ralph Warriner Jr, both of Jamestown, KY

  • Three sisters: Joe Bessie Grant of Columbia, KY; and Norma Jean Cranfield and Adoma Williams of Cincinnati, OH

  • Seventeen grandchildren

  • Twenty-three great grandchildren

  • One great great grandchild
Reba is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jerry Warriner; one daughter, Joyce Popplewell; two brothers, Finnis and Ivis Pierce; and four sisters, Dot and Ora Belvin, Pauline Keys and Marilyn Mills.
