Coleman Hunt, age 88 years, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 2pmET, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 in Campbellsville.

The funeral service will be at 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY. by Rev. J. T. Rafferty. Burial will be Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9amCT/10amET, Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Coleman Hunt, Taylor Co., KY (1927-2015)


He was the son of the late Hulette Hunt and Dionas Hunt. He was born Saturday, April 9, 1927, in Taylor County, KY. He died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY at the age of 88 years, 27 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two brothers and four sisters: Terry Hunt and wife, Paula; Sylvia Parrott, Darlene Gilpin and husband, Cecil; and Phyllis Phillips and husband, George McGee of Campbellsville, KY; Buel Hunt and wife, Betty of Algusta, GA; and Beverly Duggin of Louisville, KY

  • Two sisters-in-law: Laquita Hunt and Doris Jean Hunt of Campbellsville, KY
  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

    He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Carl Hunt November 29, 2002 and Shelby Hunt December 22, 2009.
