Dennis Craig Smith, age 62, of Summer Shade, KY, died Friday, April 17, 2015, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 2pmCT, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY. Burial will follow in the Beaumont Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 21, 2015 beginning at 10amCT, and will continue until time of service



Dennis Craig Smith, 62, Summer Shade, KY (1952-2015)

Born September 11, 1952 in New York, New York, he was a son of Rufus Craige Smith, who survives, and the late Thelma Jane Weaver Smith. He died Friday, April 17, 2015, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 62 years, seven months, and six days.

He was the husband of Thanida Jansaengchot Smith, who also survives.

He was an Automotive Repair Technician and a Navy veteran.

Survivors, in addition to his wife and father, include the following:
  • One daughter: Jane (Casey) Hendrickson, Edmonton, KY

  • One step daughter: Ueakarn Jansaengchot, Summer Shade, KY

  • One son: Dennis Smith, Summer Shade, KY

  • Two sisters: Pat Sawyer, AZ; and Sue Roma, New Jersey
  • And two grandchildren: Vincent and Jasmine Hendrickson.
