Commentary: On Rescue Dogs Mitzi Bault writes: I have always been an animal lover all my life. I have 3 rescue dogs now. But I do not understand. We have dogs at the shelter that stay so long their time runs out. If these dogs are so out of hand, no one needs them. Who would take them? Most likely it would be someone that fights them. You would not have them for a family pet. When the Vet took some of them, was it asked if it was as a volunteer or for pay? The money that is needed for the Vet bill could have gone a long way for other dogs or supplies. It is not about the breed.
