Another vulnerable group on highways: Motorcyclists

Very good thoughts Pen, and so very true. You did however leave out one group that are very numerous on our highways, that being the motorcyclist. For some reason and I do not understand it, many drivers seem to not see, not care or think a motorcycle can stop on a dime, thus putting riders is grave danger.

We all need to be more alert and pay attention when we are driving, what ever it is. Please don't text and drive, even voice texting is very distracting and takes your attention off the road. Looking away for a second or two, you can very easily travel 100-150 feet and that is plenty of distance to run over someone and hurt or kill them.
