CU preparing heroes welcome for Women's Basketball team

The Campbellsville University Women's Basketball team will receive a huge welcome back on campus today, at approximately 6pmCT/7pmET, Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Campbellsville University's J.K. Powell Athletic Center, 203 Tiger Way, Campbellsville, KY. The team is the 2015 NAIA National Championship Runners Up, the highest accomplishment of any team in the CU Women's Basketball program history. The team finishes 33-4 on the season.

"The team will arrive back to campus this evening, and we want to give them the reception they deserve," writes Joan McKinney of CU communications. "Fans, please gather tonight at J.K. Powell Athletic Center at approximately 7pmET to welcome back the NAIA national finalists! LTB had a historic season, finishing 33-4 in its first Fab Four and as Mid-South Conference Regular Season Champions. " - information in large part from Campbellsville University
