Stanley Edward Parmley age 61 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Sunday, March 08, 2015 at Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 3pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. Burkesville, KY with burial in Beech Grove Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 2pmCT, until the service time at 3pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.



Stanley Edward Parmley, Cumberland Co., KY (1953-2015)


Stanley was born on March 15, 1953 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Elmore Rowe and Celia Parmley. He died Sunday, March 8, 2015, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, Ky, at the age of 61 years, 11 months, and 24 days.

He was a Christian, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmie Parmley, C.W. Parmley, and Al Preston Parmley; three half brothers, Mann Rowe, Will Rowe, and John Rowe; two sisters, Rosalyn Parmley and Celia Mae Parmley; four half sisters, Julia Jones, Minnie Carey, Annie Lee Alexander, Sarah Duncan; and a special friend, Linda Pace.

Survivors include:
  • One daughter: Jammie Gray of Burkesville, KY

  • One step daughter: Rachel Pace of Indianapolis, IN

  • Two brothers: Marce Parmley and David Parmley both of Louisville, KY

  • Two sisters: Hazel Parmley of Louisville, KY and Margenia Hatfield and her husband John of Indianapolis, IN

  • One half brother: Farmer Rowe of Bowling Green, KY

  • Three half sisters: Barbara Anders, Edna Jewell Rowe, and Lou Ella Parrish all of Burkesville, KY

  • One aunt: Myrtie Parmley of Burkesville, KY

  • One uncle: George Hayes of Louisville, KY

  • and a host of other relatives and friends survive
