TCSO reports single vehicle injury accident Tue 24 Feb 2015

Ice on roadway a factor according to driver. Driver lost control of 2005 Nissan and hit a guardrail on the right side of Greensburg Road. The vehicle then spun around and ended up headed in the same direction on the other side of the road.

A single vehicle injury accident occurred at 7:28pmET, Tue 25 Feb 2015, on Greensburg Road in Campbellsville, KY, resulting in injuries to the driver, Alma M. Morgan, 70, Blowing Springs Road, Greensburg, KY, and her passenger Bobby H. Curry, 55, Hatcher Road, Campbellsville, KY.



Morgan was driving a 2005 Nissan passenger car and lost control of the vehicle and hit a guardrail on the right side of Greensburg Road. The vehicle then spun around and ended up headed in the same direction on the other side of the road. Morgan stated that she lost control after hitting an icy spot.

She was transported by ambulance to the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville for treatment of injuries. Her passenger, Bobby Curry, was also taken to Taylor Regional Hospital. Both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident and airbags were deployed.

Taylor County Rescue and Deputy M. Dickens assisted Deputy Ricky Underwood in the investigation.
